FMC ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION was established on June 20, 1978 and started its operation in August of 1978.The company was named after the initials of the owner Fernando M. de Castro, Jr. Being a Small company, FMC concentrated its effort in the construction and repair of service stations for Petron, Caltex and Shell. The scheme proved to be a success as the company continued growing. Eventually FMC Engineering and Construction continued to expand and diversify its services to include the oil industry and is now handling the preventive maintenance services for Petron Corporation.

The company continued its mission to meet the ever increasing demand for construction services. State-of-the-art construction equipment were eventually bought to be able to live up to its image as a company that delivers world-class services always within the time frame specified in every project contract. All the success gained by the company helped make it known as one of the best in the construction of service stations and other related projects for the oil companies.
